The staff surprised me by helping my wife curl her hair before a wedding, adding a personal touch to our stay. The lovely garden view room was a highlight, but we encountered a few heating issues.

Clean accommodation, welcoming and incredible staff on reception desk. Newly remodelled & neat unit with bathroom, an unrestricted view of the well kept, for instance.
Wi-Fi was kind of slow.

The staff were very friendly. The reception area was welcoming and attractive decor in that area.
Our room was very small and dated. The bathroom was tiny and really unacceptable for a modern hotel. We also ordered a 7.30 am wake up call which wasn't made. This is unacceptable from any hotel.

we recently enjoyed a lovely stay at the alderley edge. the room was a delight, especially with the complimentary upgrade to the delamere suite, featuring a spacious freestanding bath and a huge shower. we appreciated the cozy bed and the delicious pancakes served at breakfast. the unique menu for hot breakfast options was a fantastic touch, ensuring everything was freshly made and tasty.
No complaints at all! 😊.

Didn't have dinner in the acclaimed restaurant, but the breakfast was excellent. Choice of full English, kippers or smoked haddock. Fabulous location with views over the Cheshire Plain and Peak District. Comfortable and bright first-floor room - Fanshawe - in corner of main house with 'detached' bathroom across private passage.
Idiosyncratic plumbing, but which seemed to work okay. Slight air of faded grandeur that was endearing if anything.

Spent nearly £200 for a night and was woken up by a fire alarm at 2:30 AM with no explanation. Room was freezing, and I couldn't get back to sleep, feeling anxious about the whole situation. Pretty disappointing.

Lovely hotel, very clean and friendly.
Room was lovely but a little on the small side. Also, drinks are very expensive which goes with the area really!

I loved the fine views at Alderley Edge Park, just a short stroll away, and enjoyed a good meal at a nearby restaurant. The staff were really cute.

The location was convenient for facilities in Alderley Edge and gives easy access to Manchester and Stockport; breakfast very good.
The failure of the hotel to honour the resevation for an executive room; the standard room provided was one of the smallest I have ever seen masquerading as a "double". The failure of the hotel to apologise for this, and simply to blame Booked.net for the error. I have written to them on this point, and await their response. Do not stay at this hotel in a standard double unless you are a solo traveller or very small!
